Back ache...

Well, I think I haven’t talk about the work I do in Yoshikawa-Suisan. So this post is on what I practically did today...and how I got my back aching all the way home...

But before I begin on talkin bout my work, I just wanna show you what I’ve cooked for today’s lunch.
So...that’s steam Japanese rice, veg cooked with oyster sauce, 2 korokei (fried stuff) top with mayonnaise, and at the bottom of it is steam egg with mince meat....woohooo!!! Simple lunch.

Okay, let head on to my work for the day...

Here’s me putting on my kapaa, that’s what they call it here in Japan, in the dictionary, it means cover, and yes, it’s used to cover my clothe from getting wet. Owh that’s Ochi san at the back.

What I did today was cage maintenance. We mostly do float cleaning. Guess what, today we finish about 6 cages, and there are 30 more cages to go...tough job heh...
The picture above is Ochi san on the left and Choong on the right, tying the cleaned float against the cage frame. Sorry I don’t have the picture of myself doing float cleaning...cause everyone was busy, so none have the time to help me take a photo.

Can you see the red colour steal frame??? That’s actually a kind of sinker. It’s really one hell of a big sinker, and it’s damn heavy too (about 400kg). That sinker is square in shape and the same size as the cage frame...cage weight is about 2 tonne....lol

More cage pictures...
Notice those float that require cleaning???
Here how the structure of the cage looks like that we walk on...
No platform, just walk between the poles where there’s no float...
Notice the small sinker tide on the cage??? That small fella weighs 30Kg, about the size of the big Milo tin...imagine carrying it around on the cage...

Here’s Ochi san teaching Yong...
And when you really need to pee...here’s how you release that very most tension in your bladder...right into the sea
Yeah...should take that pic from the side...lol
Still can smile and pose for a pic on the way back to the jetty

But in the end...my back ache, anyway all of us have back ached...coz we squat a lot during float cleaning, I guess that’s the major cause...haha.

Sorry for this post, might sound a little rushing, coz it’s after a hard day work...gotta need some rest, anyway this post still keeps this blog updated...will talk back soon.
