Crazy cooking time...
Me and Lee preparing our own dinner, took dinner late yesterday coz I watched an interesting TV programme....anyway.....it was around 9 pm when I started to cook.....
Anyway play the video, sit back and watch our “Small Kitchen Crazy Cooking Time Gathering”
At the end of the video.....Choong shouted “Ding Dong” coz we afraid we made too much noise till the two door away neighbour aunty come and ask us to keep quiet.....LOL she’s the only one keep asking us to keep quiet......by the way she is the president’s sister, and I heard that they are against each other.....and that’s why we became the victim, no other neighbour come ringing our door bell except her......this happens to past year seniors as well.....anyway hope you enjoy the video.....talk soon
P.S. Been busy and tired recently, didn’t have time to update my blog.....summer is close, maybe the hot weather makes me feel tired

Dinner with Ochi san and his family
Ochi san, wife (Waekana san) and mother in law (can’t remembered her name) were open minded peoples...especially (mother in law)....will explain about it further...
The dining table was Japanese style type, low leg table and floor seating. Very weird for having Indian meal, but anyway that’s the Japanese culture. Then, on the table....of course there’s spoon and fork prepared, nothing surprising....but here’s the joke......Chopsticks!!! Yeah....chopsticks for Indian food.....I was laughing out loud by my self.......
Here’s what we had for dinner...Nan, 2 types 1 ordinary and another with cheese, Tandoori Chicken, Salad (looks like English style salad), Biryani rice, and curry. Here’s the interesting story for the curry...
Curry is served individually, so everyone has to pick their own order, there’s quite a variety of choices....can’t remember all, but here’s the most interesting part.....the curry level of spiciness can be selected from the range of 1 to 10.....can you imagine that??? You can select which level of spiciness according to which level you can stand.
The Japanese can’t really take spicy food, I only remembered Ochi san order for level 4, his wife and mother in law somewhere there. Guess what level did I ordered? 10....yeah 10 and the spiciness didn’t come close to my mom’s sambal, it barely scratch my tongue.....lol
Now here comes the part where I said Ochi san mother in law is very open minded....out of curiosity she tried those curry that was the spiciest...she went round the table trying out each and everyone of our curry......we were all surprise, cause what we learned in Japanese Culture Class prior to Japan Industrial Training, that Japanese don’t share their food....Hey, this was great you know...we didn’t feel tense as if we had to follow the Japanese culture during dining.
The other best part during dinner was the way we had our Nan.....I thought Ochi san and his family will eat their Nan with spoon and fork, couldn’t be chopsticks would it??? But they had it with hands.....Yeah!!! Another warm feeling, put a way the way we sit and dine and the chopsticks, it is as if we were really in Malaysia.....Dinner was really fun......And the best part was......I share the same birthday with Ochi san......31st of August......yeah!!!
Here’s the picture after our dinner....

Malaysia product......
But here’s one of Malaysian product I’m very proud of.......yeah there are some Made in Malaysia product you can find in Japan but not as much as those made in China....here are some of Malaysia made product I found, Sony Mp4 (lol...tried it many times, but don’t have English language version, all in Japanese), Victor Video cam (this can change the language to English), I guess that’s the most I can recall...but this brands are not Malaysia original brands...there are only made in Malaysia but overseas brand...
Here’s the one and only Malaysia original product........3.......2.......1........tadaa.......the arowana....yes, arowana or kelisa in malay, originate from Malaysia.....yea, they do have cousin in America, Australia, and some parts of South East Asia, especially Indonesia......but Malaysian Arowana are one of the best.....
Hey...just yesterday I went to the pet shop, and saw a red tail arowana, then I saw the price tagging at 198,000 yen (about RM6,000 for that 30cm fish)...then just beside the price tag, is a small photocopy of the arowana’s certificate......I glanced thru the certificate, and at the end of the certificate, stated there the fish came from Malaysia and was bred by Xian Leng...arghhh forgot the full name of the fish farm, but Xian Leng is a popular fish farm from Johor, if I’m not mistaken.......damn so proud, I almost wanna disturb the sales assistant, about the fish.....but didn’t coz afraid I will be caught inside a deep level of Japanese conversation.......anyway this always happen....then I will go like this.....arr, I’m a Malaysian, can you speak English, coz I only understand a little Japanese.....hey....their Japanese accent if different from what I learn, they use plain Japanese, while I learn the more formal speech....anyway sometime I will just go blank....
Back to the arowana...hey, I ask one of the staff here, they say arowana is popular in Japan, and he himself like arowana, and would like to culture it...hmm.....I wonder, the Japanese are so proud of their Koi (but Koi doesn’t originate from Japan), then we Malaysian should be proud of our very own Arowana....

A boring holiday...
Didn’t do much today, nothing went to plan...though we (boys) plan to follow staff to cage and go fishing, but only me went alone, accompanied by the girls....the girls were excited not because we went fishing, but excited because they finally got the chance to go to cage......lol, they were also very happy, because they got the chance to do some feeding as well.....anyway girls usually are not allowed to go to cage...don’t know why, maybe the work is tough, or maybe something else.
And after fishing...not a single fish at all...nope, that’s not what makes me boring, it’s the weather that makes me boring...because it’s a rainy day...yeah, it is raining till now (10:21pm) when I’m typing this post.
Earlier I thought today was a fine weather, not sunny and hot, just cloudy and cooling, but it started to rain when I’m on my way home after fishing...I plan to go exploring and sightseeing after fishing.....but...just stayed at home all day.....
Gee...why would it rain on the day when I have more time exploring Japan??? I think it’s the second time it rains on the day I’m having my holiday...:(
Anyway...maybe it’s a sign for me to rest more I guess, my left palm is numb, it’s been like this for about a week I guess, I don’t know what’s the cause of it, if cold is the cause, why only my left palm, but not both my palm...very very weird...
I guess this will be it for this post, gonna type a few emails, and then maybe hop of to bed, no point for me to wait for the rain to stop, maybe by the time it stop, it’s too late to go out exploring......lol....talk soon

Well, dinner was great, fun...food was delicious, and we ate so full till the throat

Biwa season...
It’s a kind of local fruit here in Japan...and according to Ochi san, Biwa season is during the summer. Take a look at the picture...
How big is it...hmm...about the size of Buah Duku or Langsat like that...there, take a look, but in the markets, they sell even bigger size than the size in the picture below...but very very expensive, about 500yen for 6 :(......anyway we can get it for free, just to taste some of Japanese local fruit by......
Owh by the way...we didn’t actually pluck, we used extended cutter to reach the fruits at the top of the tree. But to some extend...this is what Ochi san has to do...
And it’s true, his effort was not wasted, and we do get to taste the sweet taste of the Biwa.
How it taste like...hmm...don’t know how to describe, but here’s what my members says, like mangosteen, to Ochi san, he say it taste like mango...to me...taste like orange, texture like mango, how’s that???
Ah ha...some of my picture in cage...and more back aches
At the beginning of my training here, I never expected to see this kind of cage structure, and yes, starting was a little tough for me to walk on the cages, but now I can almost run on the cage.....lol
Hey the value of this cage is high I guess, it is iron frame type cage with a total weight of 2 tonne, and according to Ochi san, 1 tonne cost about 400000yen if I’m not mistaken.
Yeap...for the past 3 days doing float cleaning and changing...here’s how an exhausted bum rest...lol

Back ache...
But before I begin on talkin bout my work, I just wanna show you what I’ve cooked for today’s lunch.
Okay, let head on to my work for the day...
Here’s me putting on my kapaa, that’s what they call it here in Japan, in the dictionary, it means cover, and yes, it’s used to cover my clothe from getting wet. Owh that’s Ochi san at the back.
Can you see the red colour steal frame??? That’s actually a kind of sinker. It’s really one hell of a big sinker, and it’s damn heavy too (about 400kg). That sinker is square in shape and the same size as the cage frame...cage weight is about 2 tonne....lol
More cage pictures...
Here’s Ochi san teaching Yong...
But in the end...my back ache, anyway all of us have back ached...coz we squat a lot during float cleaning, I guess that’s the major cause...haha.
Sorry for this post, might sound a little rushing, coz it’s after a hard day work...gotta need some rest, anyway this post still keeps this blog updated...will talk back soon.

Go shopping during holiday...
Suppose today we plan to go exploring around on our own, but when we went to the hatchery to use the internet before goin of exploring, we met with Tomomi san, and ask her bout any interesting and delicious as well as cheap place for lunch. Didn’t expect that by asking her such question, she suddenly decided drive us to Youme town...felt so overwhelmed, so sorry to trouble her. But this is the kind of treatment we receive from the Japanese people...very very good.
So here a pic of Youme town...
Here’s what I have for lunch...
Here something a little interesting...
You know usually when you eat at food court, after you taken your order, they will give you your order number, and wait until your food is cook, and then just show them your order number and you will get your meal...but let me show you a little advance stuff...
So after lunch, we went window shopping. We spent about 5 hours there in Youme town. So at around 7pm which is when we promise Tomomi san to fetch us, we met at Starbucks. Anyway during that 5 hours, we split up, so guess what the girls says after 5 hours??? They haven’t finish shopping the whole mall......a big LOL I give to them. In within 5 hours, I have walk in some area for few times...and I only bought this...
Owh...before I end this post, let me introduce you Tomomi san...she is in the Orange shirt in the picture on the far right, behind her is her daughter.
I guess that’s about it for this post, time is getting late, got to get some sleep now, tomorrow got to work...so talk back soon.

5 drunkards stormed my house last nite...
Last nite I was tired, so I went to sleep early, almost immediately after dinner. Not long when I was in my sleep, while my friends were enjoying their recorded movie on pc, suddenly 5 drunkards stormed into my house...suddenly the whole house became noisy...
The 5 drunkards are...the company’s staff, they are Matsuba sensei (our teacher), Minamino san, Urabe san, Tahara san, and Ochi san (my sensei when I go to cage, very helpful person).
I don’t know what the 5 were up to, either they were happy or sad...but here’s the story...according to Ochi san...
Supposing today (Sunday) were are suppose to do fish sorting at cage... and cage work is rough and tough. But nevermind the physical challenge in cage, but the fish sorting...according to my seniors, fish sorting can last the whole day, sometimes till the night, now that’s tiring I guess, when then company only hires little staff, but with this little staff, they earn a lot.
So yesterday we did preparation for the sorting day, we toll empty cage to the sorting area, we bring new nets to be fix on the cage...but...
But all of a sudden, last nite, the 5 drunkard stomped in my house, at first we thought they were inspecting on us, Matsuba sensei, Urabe san and Ochi san went up to the boys and girls room...sounds like inspection...I got a shock, and woke up, and suddenly they say meeting, meeting, meeting!
I immediately ran down stairs to the tv room, that’s where the rest were...and Matsuba sensei made an announcement...“tomorrow no need to go work, you got holiday, no need to do sorting, no need to go to cage” (offcourse in Japanese, a little Malay and a little English, he can speak a little Malay, okay) ...we were surprise, drunkard talking to us, not sure the truth or not, but then Ochi san explained.
So Ochi san said the deal between the company and the customer was cancelled. The deal was about the sales of the fish we are going to sort, so I guess the 5 drunkard were either happy because they don’t have to work hard today, or either sad that the sales cancelled, or maybe both and that leads them drinking till drunk...crazy people, but Matsuba sensei says this is Yoshikawa style...things change without announcement...anyway last nite fun too, they made jokes around the house, just imagine the way a drunkard will do...
Okay that’s all for today...since today’s my holiday, will spend my time exploring Japan, and will talk back soon.........arghhh!!! weather outside seem hot, summer is coming I guess :(
P.S. I got my allowance yesterday...17670 yen for 2 weeks. maybe another 2 week total can buy me a new digital camera....wuahaha

Torn twice... :(
Here’s how it look like...right between my legs...lol
It’s still okay when it torn apart during working time, people understands how it happen and there’s nothing to laugh about...lucky me, I’m not that easily to get embarrassed, so even cycling on the way home there’s no problem of feeling ashamed in the public.
But things get nasty when you are cycling home and the cool air just blow into the hole...you will get a WOW! sensation...lol, that hole is direct in front of my...and cycling home takes about 10 minutes. The faster I cycle...the cooler it gets...Wow! Wow! Wow!
Anyway got it stitched myself this morning, coz I need to wear the pants for work today. So I woke up a little early, to sew the poor pants, and also prepare my lunch for the day.
Oh by the way, I...I mean me and my training members, went shopping with Tomomi san, the company’s president daughter last night. She also buy us dinner...we had Japanese buffet. I think I will blog on this on a separate post, time is running out, I have to get ready to go to work now. So thanks for reading and talk soon, bye.

Unlucky.....but glad :)
Anyway....this post was type a day earlier, because I don’t have internet connection at home, and that the only way I can access the internet is to go to the hatchery where I work, but with limited time to use the internet....because I have to share the company’s pc with my other members. Even more, unless it’s holiday like today, otherwise I will only have less than 1 hour to use the internet during lunch time.
So what you are reading now is my post on my yesterday activities.
But before I move on let me introduce my members who undergo industrial training in the same station with me.
The picture below was taken in McDonalds during our exploration to look for wireless hotspot (internet).....but so unlucky, we still couldn’t find any other choice to access the internet except in the hatchery. So let me introduce.....from the left is Choong, Adeng, Lee and Yong, yeap!!! 5 of us are having our industrial training in Yoshikawa-Suisan.
Oh yea.....here’s what I bought for my lunch tomorrow.....
Here’s a picture of one of the lunch prepared by the company...
Anyway that bento was the last meal I ate prepared by the company.
Hey....today I also met with the cashier where I bought my stuff for lunch, whom is quite helpful and grateful. She also gave me her phone no. in case I need any help, especially exploring around Japan. Anyway her name is Ikuko Takezaki (Iku san)....and best of all, she can speak English, not that good, but better than those I’ve met so far.....very very helpful.
In fact I met Iku san a day earlier, but that time we just met briefly....but anyway I’m glad I made new friend in Japan.....hahaha......maybe will post her picture here someday.
